I'm not sure when it started, but the Corona period brought a lot out from under the familiar carpet for me. For a long time I tried to maintain normality and to give the chaos around me a certain constant.
There are astonishingly many people around me who believe I should be there for them, even if they have ignored me for several months and also constantly refuse my questions for help. With the cherry on top that I am labeled as outrageous, and again ignored when I say "not working right now" - because it just really does not work.
In fact, of course, I also know that everyone has to deal with their own challenges. And because of this understanding, I overestimated my supposed inner strength ... to believe that you can regulate everything through routine and meditation, keep pulling yourself up and continue, reflect and change your perspective is guaranteed to make you stronger. Depending on the topics and life experiences, it can sometimes be too tough.
Assuming that I am who you think I am - huh. It's really projecting a lot. Way too much. And so it happens that sand castles are caught by big waves. The idealized image of resilience is suddenly no longer a role model and nothing to long for. Then what does that do to the rejected person? It hurts. Builds up distances. And rejection is difficult poison, it causes one to become more and more closed in order to protect oneself. It shows me that you shouldn't think anything into anyone. You just don't walk in their shoes.
Stay friendly and courageous with yourself and let the others be. According to the motto "I will be me and you can be you" you can assume that the confrontations have to do with the other person. Everyone does this: distract from themselves so they have not to look at their own business. Reflection and projection avoids a look into the own mirror. Listen carefully, because you will learn a lot about the other person.
And always remember, it's never just the others. A lot is about yourself and how you set up your point of view or perspective. Everything has a reason, a positive and negative side. Everything balances out and is in balance. What you make of it is the decisive factor. And that one for yourself only.
